Meet Kathryn

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified First Responder Counselor. My formal education was through the University of North Dakota, but life experience has truly been my best teacher. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and a variety of other concerns; and am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additionally, I am able to provide Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy. I am currently writing a book for parents navigating estrangement with an adult child. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, and I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families. My heart is to point people to the Author of Hope.

On a personal level, I grew up on a small farm in South Dakota. I love gardening, reading, good food, and my family. My husband is my best friend and we are blessed to have two grown children and a handful of grandchildren. God has been good to me. Even when I turned my back on him, He just waited for me to come back. Maybe he's waiting for you?

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.

Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. - Romans 15:13
